From Sacramento: Take Hwy 99 to US 50 East. Continue on US 50 for about 98 scenic miles to Lake Tahoe Blvd (Still Hwy 50). Continue on Lake Tahoe Blvd Through the town of South Lake Tahoe about 8 miles until you pass the CA/NV state line ( you will see the casinos). At the Signal Light about 1/2 mile past the casinos you will turn uphill onto Kingsbury Grade SR 207. About 1/4 mile uphill on the right you will see the large brown building with C1. It is at the corner of Kingsbury and Market Street
During periods when there is high traffic, you might want to take the Pioneer Trail road to circumvent most of the South Lake Tahoe traffic. To do this, just after you pass through Meyers on Hwy 50 you will see the Pioneer Trail Turnoff. Turn right and just follow the road. It will intersect in a fork with Hwy 50 about 0.4 miles from the Nevada State Line.

The Scenic Route Driving from Southern California: Go North on the 5 to the 14. The 14 goes only one direction, toward Palmdale. You go right thru Palmdale, staying on the 14. The 14 goes to Mojave where you will come to a stop signal. About ¾ mile past the stop sign is the Arco, a good place to gas up. Then, about another ¾ mile or so you will jog to the right onto Hwy 395. That will be the last turn you take until reaching Nevada and getting to our area. In Gardnerville, There is a sharp left turn on SR 88 at the last signal (right after an ARCO on your left, not the one on the right) directing you to Lake Tahoe via the Kingsbury grade. You will feel like you are back-tracking, but there is a well signed turn to Tahoe after exactly 2 miles where you turn right onto hwy 207, Kingsbury Grade. Go over the peak of Kingsbury Grade and at the bottom just 1/4 mile before the signal you will find C21.in the large brown building with C21. It is at the corner of Kingsbury and Market Street
Instead of taking the Kingsbury Grade, you may want to continue on 395 past Gardnerville approaching the Carson City area. Then, take Hwy 50 up the hill about 20 miles, passing through just 3 signal lights before you will see theKingsbury Grade Signal Light.Turn uphill onto Kingsbury Grade SR 207.
